From desktop to Smart phones, Jeff has guided IRT’s Web & Mobile Services team since 2008 with the mission of optimizing the Sacramento State digital experience. The web & mobile team supports campus systems including the campus home page, Sac State Mobile, My Sac State portal, Blackboard/SacCT and Sharepoint, among others. In addition to leading the implementation of campus-wide Web Content Management (WCM), Jeff has a passion for enhancing the user experience and has overseen the push to bring learning into the hands of students through, accessible, mobile-friendly websites and the free Sac State Mobile app. In 2014, Sacramento State became the third school in California to optimize class registration for mobile devices.
Previously, Jeff served as the Campus Web Manager for Northern Arizona University. He also founded, and collaborated with Teva Sport Sandals, National Geographic Theatre, IMAX, the Grand Canyon Association and Grand Canyon National Park as a co-founder of Canyon WebWorks, a nationally-recognized web development company. Jeff holds a BS in Communication/Marketing and a Master of Administration, both from Northern Arizona University.
