- 10:30 AM45mBreakout 2: Securing the App Experience as you Enhance PersonalizationSpeaker: John Jacott, Executive Director, Appsian Modern users expect a “personalized” experience that is both optimized for usability and mobility. In order to ensure positive student outcomes, campuses are leveraging the app experience for the mobile execution of core transactions. However, to fully leverage app technology, they must face the realization that personalization comes with added security risks - as the added personalization is ultimately leveraging a user’s personal (and sometimes sensitive) data. In this insightful panel session, we’ll hear from cybersecurity experts on best practices for balancing security and personalization: How to protect your publicly-facing HCM applications from cybercriminals that might be accessing your systems via compromised credentials How to maintain strict data governance, risk, and compliance policies How personalization enables productivity – and why it’s worth the added security risk!
